What We Offer:

The EmployAbility NOW program is for people with mental health or addiction issues who have realistic job goals and who would benefit from support during their job search. The pilot program was partnered with AvenueNB in 2002, as a “Passionate, collaborative, innovative and most of all inclusive. Our pursuit is to break down barriers and increase the employment rate of persons with disability in New Brunswick.” The program that intends to focus on the assisting of individuals with mental health and/or addiction barriers by supporting them in their pursuit of both meaningful and sustainable employment.

We focus on helping individuals with mental health or addiction barriers find meaningful employment by:

Supporting individuals in setting realistic job goals and assisting them during their job search.
Collaborating with AvenueNB to break down barriers and increase employment rates for persons with disabilities in New Brunswick.
Taking a humanitarian approach by engaging clients where they are in their lives to create specialized action plans tailored to their needs.
Offering personalized one-on-one support from employment counselors to determine optimized career paths.
Assisting clients in creating and organizing necessary job application documents.
Providing ongoing guidance to clients in job applications and employment maintenance to ensure long-term success.
